We have excellent haul-in facilities for various large animal surgical procedures and the processing of large groups of cattle. Recently, we updated our tub and alley equipment to allow for a smoother flow of animals throughout our facility. We are able to fit large/pregnant cows and bulls in our alley. Equine

Keeping your horses healthy and happy is very important to the veterinarians of Rock Veterinary Clinic. We offer yearly vaccinations, Coggins and routine dental care. Euthanasia and Post Mortems​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Whether you need an animal euthanized or need diagnostic answers from a deceased animal, the veterinarians at Rock Veterinary Clinic have the skills and knowledge to help you come to a conclusion. If necessary, we can take tissue samples for university diagnostic lab testing and/or consult with you on possible treatments for other herd animals that may be affected.

Health Certificates​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Are you in need of a Health Certificate for your animals? We can visit your farm or you can use our haul-in facilities. The veterinarian will perform a health check of the animals and make sure they have the proper identification, vaccinations, tests, and requirements for movement, travel, or sale. We also have the ability to use electronic health certificates through Global Vet Link.

Hoof Trimming on Hydraulic Tilt Table​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Our hydraulic tilt table works great for trimming feet or treating toe abscesses on cows and bulls. Our veterinarians trim hooves on many cattle each year. They are able to correct many foot abnormalities and get your animal back on their feet.

Laboratory Diagnostics are a vital part of a healthy herd. We can help you with your blood collecting, tissue processing, and diagnostic work. Dr. Erin deKoning, Dr. Jason Johnson, and Dr. Emily Tschida are certified trainers of the Pork Quality Assurance (PQA) program. Dr. Erin deKoning is also a certified trainer of Beef Quality Assurance (BQA) and Transport Quality Assurance (TQA) programs. Tub & Chute Rentals​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

We have a portable tub with alleyway and two portable chutes available for rent so you can safely work your cattle at your location. We ask that you call ahead to reserve them and return them clean. We also ask that you report any visible damages that may have occurred while renting.

Veterinary Feed Directives (VFDs)​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Changes were made in how the FDA regulates most of the feed grade and water-soluble antibiotics you use. On January 1, 2017, many antibiotics used in U.S. animals shifted from over-the-counter status to being available only under veterinary oversight using what is known as a veterinary feed directive. VFD is a written statement issued by a licensed veterinarian that authorizes the use of a VFD drug or combination VFD drug in or on an animal feed. This written statement authorizes the producer to obtain and use animal feed containing a VFD drug to treat the producer’s animals only in accordance with the conditions for use approved by the FDA. If you have or need a current veterinary-client-patient relationship (VCPR), please give us a call, we can come up with a plan so you can receive your VFD order.
